Manitou Woods is a place for recreation, retreats, self-education, sports and fun. Individuals or groups, reserve your space. Produce your programs in privacy and security. Make the Woods your own. We faeries believe the land is sacred, and so is the water, and air. All the plants, the other animals, everything in and around this place—including the humans—are sacred. The entire environment, the whole of planet Earth is sacred to us. The small portion of Earth known to us as Kawashaway Sanctuary is no more intrinsically sacred, no less a part of us, than a parking lot at the Mall of America. However, Kawashaway is wilder and more natural than most places, closer to what we believe is the ecological intent of the goddess.

We are now setting up the radical faerie/queer sanctuary. We are at the stage of drawing together all the energies to get it up and running.

We have bought the land on which to share in living and growing together as one queer/faerie family. The commiunity will provide a home for people on the land on a permanent basis and also provide space for long and short term visitors.

NYC Radical Faeries: We are a network of satyrs, sissies, butch leather queens, ceremonial drag queens, queers, pansies, activists, revolutionaries, workers, artists, farmers, witches, pagans, sacred fools, rural and urban dwellers who see gays, lesbians and transgenders as a distinct and unique people, with our own culture, our own spirituality and our own path of Being.

The DC Radical Faeries is a religious and educational organization whose members organize to explore, promote and advance Queer notions of spirituality.

The Denver Radical Faerie Tribe has been in existence for about ten years. It is a fast-growing circle of energetic earth-centered Gay men who meet for community. We celebrate the solstices, equinoxes and ancient holidays of the sun and the moon.

We are a growing circle of gay and queer men, friends and neighbours who are centred on the land a.k.a. Amber Fox.

We tend to be non-mainstream and include a diverse range of ages, body types, ethnic backgrounds, occupations, and interests.
