A New Rome Is Coming

Artist: Argentum Argentina

Title: A New Rome Is Coming

Label: SkullLine Germany

Genre: Neo Folk / Martial / Power Electronics

I have to make a statement. I received this as a homemade burned CDR with no artwork in a clear poly soft case. For a label that seems to care so much about their aesthetics , artwork and creations it leaves a lot for the review to imagine and review. Well on to the music as this is all I can tell you about. They seem to be from the Neo Classic/ Martial vein of the musical spectrum. From what I'm hearing there very similar but in a more synth based way to Von Thronstahl, Puissance and H.E.R.R. Though this is just half the story of the music.

As we travel to the latter half of the release. They go into a full power electronic mode. This doesn't make it bad but any means. Just makes you think and wonder why the change and did it really hold a purpose for the mood and feeling of the release and I feel it did as "A New Rome is Coming" is about the dark future that is in store for all of us . Unless the nations of the world see the issues with good education, strong values and the understanding to clean up an overpopulated planet. This side of the music reminds me of Grunt, Slogun and to a degree Sutcliff Jugend as it's very aggressive at moments.

These gentlemen are from South American were the struggle seems greatest and I'm sure this is why these feelings come out the strongest. Again this is another of the long line of limited to 100 copied CD's from SkullLine of which we have 7 neoclassic/ martial tracks and 7 Power electronic movement's. So if your into your industrial sounds of the martial nature be sure not to miss out on this.
