This live recording of St. Petersburg's Bardoseneticcube is hard to put into any one genre. It certainly has an ambient feel to it, but it ranges from dark, dripping sewer ambience to harsh noise and even touches on industrial dance music in a few places. It isn't the lazy style of suddenly changing styles from one to the other, either. The transitions are very well worked and blend quite well. It's actually kind of hard believing it's two live recordings because both are executed superbly and the sound quality is better than some studio recordings even.

There are a lot of interesting sounds and while it's nothing groundbreaking, it certainly is a fresh sound in contrast to the large amount of dry, boring noise and ambient release that have come out in the past couple years. If this is what Bardoseneticcube sound like live, I'd like to hear what they can do when they pick and choose only the best of their work.
